I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything but, what the hell, I’m lazy. Anyway since the Obama machine has managed to… Oh wait. The Clinton campaign managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I thought she was supposed to be the annointed one. I guess that her organization was just as competant as she would have been at the top seed in the party. Go figger.

Anyway, the presumptive Saviour of the Democrat or should I say the Neo-Socialist party is proving to be something of a mystery man. With the Daily Kos releasing a somewhat dubious “copy” of the birth certificate, there are more questions than answers. Was he or was he not born in Hawaii, and when did his mother return to this country if he was born in another country? The Linton campaign has launched a missile at Obama and I’m enjoying the dialogs.

Of course this doesn’t matter to the acolytes of the Democrat standard bearer. I’ve found out that even if you say something slightly in jest that might make him look somewhat human, the wrath of the Obama shock troops can be daunting. Of course these same robots were’nt so kind to Bush when he made some equally strange mistakes.

It must be remembered that there are those of us who really don’t have the ability to speak well in public, I being one. I’ve said things that, upon further reflection, I have come to realize are not only strange but downright stupid sounding. Even Ronald Reagan said things that had a quality of being questionable, and he was known as the Great Communicator. At least I don’t have to be in the public eye and dodging the arrows of the opposition party.

I guess this race is going to come down as to who these two candidates will be tagging for their running mates. The next five months are really going to be interesting. The old white guy who some call a “Conservative” who is showing up more as a centrist with leftward leanings on the environment and a few other things, and the half-white young guy who no-one can quite get a handle on but if he played guitar would be more popular than the Beatles, if you get my drift. (Why was John Lennon condemned by the Religious Right?)

The best thing to do is look at the voting records of the candidates. Check out this site and make upo your own mind.
